The Village Hall Lottery was formed to raise money for the ongoing improvements needed at the Hall. Tickets are just £2 per month. This can be paid by Standing Order, but there are a number of collectors covering all of the village who will collect cash/cheque if this is preferred. This is a vital part of Village Hall income and everybody is more than welcome to take part. Approximately 30% of the monthly amount collected is paid out in Prize Money.

There are five winning tickets each month and the Draw takes place just before the Parish Council meeting on the second Tuesday of the month in the Village Hall.

There is an additional 'Bonus Draw' in December which means that one lucky winner will receive £100 making a total of £1,300 paid out in Prize Money each year.
